On the day, you sit one-on-one in the same room as another candidate. There is a divider between you — you can hear each other perfectly, but not see each other. No appearances. No distractions. Just conversation.
You do this with up to 10 people throughout the morning. Each session is 15 minutes. You take notes. You pay attention to how they make you feel — do they make you laugh? Do they listen? Do they share your values? That is what you are choosing on.
At the end of the day, you privately submit who felt most compatible. If they chose you too — the divider comes down. You see each other for the very first time. No pressure, no commitment. Just a real beginning, built on something that actually lasts.
We are a small team of Bay Area Muslims who got tired of watching our friends struggle — brilliant, faith-driven people reduced to a headshot and a height requirement on an app. We built this because we believe the right conversation, in the right environment, can change someone's life. This is that environment.
After a full day of intentional conversations, the process is simple, private, and designed to honour everyone with dignity.
After your deep-dive conversations, every attendee privately submits their final choice in a sealed card. No one sees your selection. No one is told they were chosen — until a mutual match is confirmed.
✦ Sealed & PrivateIf two people chose each other, they are brought together privately at the reveal ceremony with admins present. The divider comes down. They see each other for the first time — and exchange contact freely.
✦ Mutual Consent OnlyIf there is no mutual match but someone selected you, you will be quietly and privately informed. You then decide — entirely on your own terms — whether you would like to meet them. No pressure. Just an open door.
✦ Your Choice, Your TermsIf no connection was made, all submissions are immediately destroyed. Your privacy is fully protected. You are invited to the following month's event — completely free of charge. The right person may simply be one event away.

If you have never been to a matrimonial event before — here is exactly what happens on the day.
You hand in your phone and receive a notepad and pen. That is it. No screens, no distractions. You are free to share your name and background — since there are no phones, no one can look you up. You are a real person to them, not just a profile.
You sit one-on-one in the same room as each candidate, with a divider between you. You can hear each other clearly — but not see each other. Ask anything. Be yourself. Do this 10 times and take notes on how each person makes you feel.
After the morning rounds, you pick your top 3. You then spend 1 hour with each of them — still behind the divider, still unseen. The aim is to go deeper: values, family, life vision. By the end of three real conversations, you choose 1.
If you and your final choice both selected each other — the moment arrives. You see each other for the very first time. If there is no mutual match, you may be offered the chance to meet someone who chose you. No pressure. Just possibility.
All devices are sealed in labeled envelopes at check-in and returned at close of day. You arrive with one tool: your presence. Handwritten notes only — analog by design, intentional by purpose.
Sisters may arrange for a mahram to accompany them for the deep-dive sessions. Coordinate with our female admin when you register — we make it seamless.
All submissions are physically destroyed at the end of the event. No data retained. An NDA is signed at check-in. What happens here stays here.
